simavr does #AVR #emulation with timing and dumps out #VCD files, a sort of built-in virtual logic analyzer. The instructions in the README here produce somewhat less debugging output than shown in the current version of simavr, and it took me a while to figure out how to open them in gtkwave, but they do work. Also the VCD format, which sigrok supports for both input and output, seems super simple.

Also they did their own linear regression, giving rise to a hairier model that is apparently twice as accurate. PbO’s 13 compares favorably to (from other sources) carbon steel at 10.8, aluminum at 23.1, and concrete’s at 12, but of course enormous compared to invar at 1.2 or crystalline quartz at 0.33.
