#video on targeted offgrid comms with "T-Rex Labs" #paranoia. KT7RUN and KK4FMV are trying to communicate over a few thousand km using a 20-watt Xiegu G90 HF backpack ham #radio transceiver (20 and 17 meters). He mounts a mast on the trailer hitch of his jeep out in the middle of the Arizona desert and ran an inverted-V (dipole?) antenna from it, suffering a cactus injury. They’re going to try using the #JS8 digital mode with KN4CRD’s #JS8Call software on a Panasonic Toughpad running Ubuntu. Oh and maybe it’s actually 100 watts. He does succeed in talking to somebody in Tennessee with voice, and somebody in New York over JS8, and finally his intended contact. Finally he used a tiny pocket Garmin InReach MINI 2 satellite radio to communicate successfully.

#video on Elon Musk recommending Linux because of #Microsoft-Recall #paranoia mostly consisting of stock footage of people using terminal emulators to do irrelevant things. Doesn’t actually talk much about #elmu, but does repeatedly show the Joe Rogan footage of him smoking pot. Waste of time.
#video on #Godot by #DeveloperEzra mostly about Brackeys using it
#pasivos for royalty-free explosion sound effects for #games (but highly license-encumbered, forbidding for example immoral, obscene, offensive, and misleading uses, for dating services, and ‘in a political context’, except for stuff uploaded before January 9, 02019, which is CC0)
#video on one month of gamedev in #Godot, almost entirely talking-head filler, waste of time to watch
Green screen #chromakey introduction, and how “Adobe Premiere”’s “Ultra Key” feature uses it.
there are a lot of stock #chromakey videos, largely animation loops, for #pasivos, under the "green screen" keyword.
#Godot 4 #compute-shaders #tutorial #documentation. Apparently you have to write GLSL in an external text editor and then make a RDShaderSPIRV with load("res://foo.glsl").get_spirv() and then pass it to RenderingDevice.shader_create_from_spirv.
a #Godot addon for writing #compute-shaders more easily
