Play-Doh #MSDS #PDF says it’s 37% wheat flour, 5.7% NaCl, 5.7% CaCl2, 4.74% cornstarch, 2.9% mineral oil, 1.7318% TiO2, 1% mica, and, most amusingly, 0.1047% carbon black. Presumably the rest is water. Wikipedia says it contains borax but this MSDS doesn’t. #materials

on 02024-07-10#MSDS for “Dexpan” brand #expanding-grout #materials “for controlled demolition, reinforced concrete cutting, rock breaking”, etc. Causes serious eye damage because it’s 75–90% slaked lime, also containing vitreous silica, hematite (Fe₂O₃), and alumina. But that can’t be all Expando is or it wouldn’t cost AU$15 a kilo. Specific gravity 3.2.
