She got a pretty staggering amount of yarn actually, 400+ “yards” from the US$5.75 H&M sweater, about 25% of the cost of new yarn, while the Style & Co. sweater gave her 2400 “yards” of very fine yarn for the same Goodwill price, one tenth the cost of new yarn.
