#vanlife #video by Nomad Brad living in his work van (a converted U-Haul truck) in a Home Depot parking lot. Not very #stealthcamping because it has tinted windows on the sides and an air-conditioner condenser sticking off the back, wood siding and a residential-sized door on the back, and visible solar panels on top, and it also advertises his services as a solar installer for vans and RVs on the sides. He does seem to have a door between the cab and the box, but he doesn’t use it. Brief demonstration of installing a kilowatt of PV on the roof of a trailer for a client. Separation toilet, small fridge, induction cooktop, espresso machine, 1200W of #solar #PV on the roof, 5100Wh of LFP batteries, a 3kW Sungold inverter, etc. He also has a portable “power station” for use on the job site. He spends the next night in the parking lot of a Planet Fitness gym, where he showers.
