The "Snappy" #RepRap #3D printer, by Revar Desmera (revarbat).
on 02016-01-11The #Snappy #RepRap #3D printer can “self-replicate” itself in 100–130 hours and two kilos of plastic, according to one of the comments here. #self-replicating
on 02016-01-11#Snappy is a #RepRap #3D printer that snaps together out of almost entirely 3-D printed PLA parts, with cable chains and linear rails and whatnot. No non-printed belts, pulleys, or rails, and almost no screws. Still uses a metal threaded Z-axis, metal motors, a glass build plate, and a metal hotend.
