on 02024-08-16Hoyle & Hoyle Software, vendors of the #HDOS adventure game “A Remarkable Experience”, listed Hughes Hoyle as the contact person and was located in Greensboro, NC, so probably the obituary I found is relevant. #interactive-fiction #retrocomputing
on 02024-08-16A Unitarian Universalist named Hughes Hoyle IV of Greensboro, NC, died in 02014, predeceased by his father, Hughes Hoyle, in 02008. Probably one of them was the author of the #HDOS adventure game “A Remarkable Experience”. “Hughes attended Ragsdale High and North Carolina State University. He lived in Raleigh for twenty years, where he made many gaming and trucking friends. Back in Greensboro, he was employed by Guilford County Schools. He had many interests and talents but especially enjoyed his books.” #interactive-fiction #retrocomputing
