#news #interview #video yesterday with Sergey Lavrov, 81 minutes, about the #Ukraine war, by the notorious right-wing ideologue from the US, which I linked yesterday from the ideologue’s channel; this is the channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
#exercise #video showing common deviations from proper pushup form. Points out that “archer” pushups form a continuum of difficulty. #calisthenics
#exercise #video showing pushup variations ranked by difficulty: wall pushups, incline pushups, knee pushups, negative (eccentric) pushups, regular pushups, diamond pushups, decline pushups (with your feet on a box), ring pushups, spiderman pushups, knee to elbow pushups, sphinx pushups (with upper arms initially vertical), archer pushups (with one arm straight), clapping pushups, pike pushups, planche lean pushups, handstand pushups (with your toes on a wall), tucked planche pushups (between parallel bars), one-arm pushups, free handstand pushups, tigerbend pushups (hard to explain), 90° pushups (on pushup handles, starting horizontal and raising to handstand position), planche pushups (same without the handstand, using a straddle planche). #calisthenics
#China is landing (well, “landing”) reusable rockets on fold-out landing legs like #SpaceX, according to Chinese state government TV channel. This seems to be the Deep Blue Aerospace Nebula-1, reaching 10km altitude. #CGTN #space #video
#China #video on #Zhuque-3 (朱雀三) reusable #space rocket 10 months ago, built by private space exploration company #Landspace, fueled by lox and methane. 9 1000-kN (100-tonne) TQ-12B engines, 76.6m tall, 4.5m diameter, 21.3 tonnes (?). Second stage has a single TQ-15B engine blowing 1183kN at 3500m/s. Looks very, very similar to a #SpaceX Falcon. Slogan: “The key to freer access to space.”
#video of the first successful (10km) vertical-takeoff, vertical-landing flight by the first stage of #China’s LandSpace’s #Zhuque-3 (朱雀三) on September 11. “ZhuQue-3 is a partially reusable, liquid oxygen and liquid methane (LOX+LCH4) powered, launch vehicle developed by #LandSpace Technology Corporation (蓝箭, Blue Arrow). According to the company, the test was conducted with a single-stage liquid oxygen/liquid methane rocket, with a diameter of 3.35 metres and a length of 18.3 metres, made from the same high-strength stainless steel airframe structure that will be used on the ZhuQue-3 rocket.” But 3.35m is less than the 4.5m diameter of ZhuQue-3.
#video on #China’s eight most promising reusable #space rocket companies: #LandSpace (whose #ZhuQue-3 is powered by TQ-12As), iSpace (whose Hyperbola-3 is powered by Jiaodian-2s), Galactic Energy (whose Pallas-1 is powered by Cangqiong-50s), CAS Space (whose Lijian-2 is powered by YF-102s), #Space-Pioneer (whose Tianlong-3 is powered by Tianhuo-12), Orienspace (whose Gravity-2 is powered by Yuanli-85s), Deep Blue Aerospace (whose Nebula-1 is powered by Leiting-1Rs), and SAST (whose engine is called Longyuan). SAST (the Shanghai Academy of Space Technology), LandSpace, and iSpace are using methalox, while the others are kerolox. Seven of these (excluding Deep Blue Aerospace) already have regular launch income from disposable rockets, mostly solid-fueled. Also Long March 10 (which I think is made by the government) is going to reusable boosters and is going to be trying to catch them in a sort of crisscross of movable tethers. China plans to launch two Starlink-like megaconstellations called #Qianfan (by Shanghai Spacecom, 15000 satellites) and #Xingwang (by China SatNet, 13000 satellites).
#China #space rocket company #Space-Pioneer calls their rocket Tianlong-3 天龙三号 and their engine Tianhuo-12 or TH-12 天火-12. Hilarious.
#video on #SpaceX. Mentions that a recent Falcon 9 launch from launchpad SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral broke the record for the fastest turnaround time: 13 days and 12 hours to reuse the booster. Also mentions Rocket Lab as another company working on reusable spaceflight, with #space rockets Electron (already providing launches but not reusable) and Neutron. But ABL Space Systems is abandoning the commercial space launch market, following Virgin Orbit and Relativity Space. Also there’s Astra. Somehow completely fails to mention ULA or any of the rocket companies in China.
#video on how #China launched the first 18 #Qianfan satellites on August 6. Also mentions OneWeb and Telesat. Qianfan plans to have 108 satellites up this year, 648 next, 1296 in 02027, and 15000 in 02030. #Xingwang, according to an ITU filing in 02020, plans to have 1300 satellites deployed in 02029, 6500 in 02032, and 13000 in 02034.
#video #toread #interview with #Steven-Seagal at his luxury hotel suite in #Dubai. He spends a lot of time bragging about what he knows, but then spars with the interviewer.
#video about how #Steven-Seagal lied about some of his qualifications but legitimately bribed people to get others, and also got involved with the #Mafia, and allegedly sexually assaulted one of his employees and held her prisoner in his house.
#video on #exercise, #Summerfunfitness explaining how to work up to being able to do a pullup by doing negative pullups, and doing a pullup every time she went in and out of her bedroom. She does six reps for three sets, making the reps more difficult rather than doing more reps, but says it’s because she doesn’t enjoy doing high reps of pullups.
#video on #explaining, #Summerfunfitness talking about pullups and in particular archer pullups and fun little dances.
