MODIS (36-band, infrared, 250m resolution) data is available, but old #datasets are being “decommissioned”: “The Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System (LAADS) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) plans to decommission the following Terra and Aqua MODIS product collections on June 30, 2017. Starting on July 1, 2017, users interested in accessing and acquiring Collection-5 (C5) decommissioned land products may do so from the Land Processes DAAC. Users will have no recourse to access the C5.1 MODIS atmosphere collections starting August 1, 2017, and are advised to use the C6 collection. Users will have no recourse to access the C5 MODIS L1 products starting January 1, 2018, and are advised to use the C6 MODIS L1 collection.” Not sure if this has to do with #Trump #politics trying to cover up #climate-change. Also they have a self-signed TLS certificate. #space #remote-sensing
