#3D-printed metal vs. CNC #manufacturing #video #toread

Probably around here fiberglass is the best option. He cut the screens to size but not shape with tin snips, then trimmed them after printing with the kind of small diagonal cutters used for trimming through-hole leads or zip ties. I thought maybe he would put them in between all the layers, but he seems to have stuck to just a single layer on the bottom, another on the top, and a totally useless one in the middle. For final trimming he resorted to dremeling off the wires with a cutoff disc, eventually deciding that’s just way too hard to make it safe to handle. #manufacturing #video
