#video of #DIY #jugaad fish windsock from a flattened HDPE shopping bag by removing ink with alcohol and then tracing a fish pattern onto it from a paper template with a “king size” graffiti Sharpie permanent marker and a green Marks-A-Lot permanent marker. After cutting out the shape with scissors, the author continues adding colors with different permanent markers: the green, and orange, and white. Cutting up a PET bottle and applying some clear packing tape makes a ring almost double the diameter of the original bottle as a mouth for the fish, the bag being connected to it with additional packing tape folded over the edge of the ring. Curled ribbons are taped inside the fish’s tail (its open backend) to catch the wind; a hole punch on each side of the mouth ring enables tying on a string. The final fish is hung rather sadly from a clothesline. I don’t think HDPE will last long in the sun.
