Beatrice's Engagement Ring

Here's Beatrice's beautiful engagement ring!

We bought it at Z Jewelry in San Francisco; they had it ready for us a couple of weeks after we paid for it. (The one we originally looked at was too large for Beatrice.) I stood there in the jewelry store and asked her if she would marry me --- again. She grinned this huge lovely grin and said she would. So I put it on her finger, right there in the store.

We were grinning at each other and laughing all the way home.

It's made of 14kt white gold with a diamond inset into it --- we figure that both of us are fairly physically active, so a diamond sticking out wouldn't be a good idea.
